Lets keep it simple

I actually won't talk a lot about development or skills tonight.  Rather lets talk about the health of a parent and a relationship.  My husband and I are the only ones out here.  And I hear that is not uncommon in DC.  We often rely on friends or good babysitters just to have a decent night out.  And we should not feel guilty about that.  When I see my kids the next day or 2 days later I am refreshed and ready to tackle that job of being a mom.  It's important to connect with your friends, your loved one, or even yourself so you can focus and balance your needs.  This allows you to then give the energy that is needed to being a parent! It is just as important for your children to see you healthy as it is to give them health.......
