Understanding Urinary Incontinence

Urinary incontinence affects many people throughout the life span from pediatrics to geriatrics as well as men and women. Society often ties urinary incontinence in with having children, some may have even been told that it is normal after birth. This workshop focuses on what types of urinary incontinence there are and how to begin to help improve your quality of life and decrease leaking. This work shop will include an overview of what the pelvic floor is and how to activate it and how to relax it to optimize its function. This workshop is led by Courtney Foley, a Physical Therapist with experience in both adult and pediatric pelvic floor issues and training specific to pelvic floor health
