Weekly classes are for caregivers and children (newborn through four years) to target age appropriate motor skills, provide optimal sensory experiences, reinforce socialization and problem solving all in a group play environment. These classes allow for caregivers and parents to bond and feel empowered and gain insight into their child’s skills. They are designed to support a child at their current level of development and facilitate their continued growth. More specifically, activities are designed to help optimize a child’s sensory, cognitive, motor, language, social, and emotional development through play. The focus is prevention and optimizing of each child’s ability. We aim to create a supportive environment that allows parents/caregivers to interact, observe, and encourage their child in a small group setting. Parents/caregivers will also learn new skills to support their child’s development with a focus on teachings that can be incorporated into everyday life. Lastly, we aim to create a safe place for parents and caregivers to share stressors of caring for a child in a supportive environment.
