Food Should Be Fun Fridays

Join us for a playful, supportive workshop designed for families and babies who are beginning to show readiness for eating. This class creates a relaxed, engaging environment where exploration comes first, and pressure stays out of the picture.

Each session begins with brief introductions and guided play to help babies feel comfortable and regulated. From there, families are invited into sensory exploration with food—touching, smelling, and interacting in a low-stress way—before moving into opportunities for eating at each child’s own pace.

Led by an experienced feeding therapist (Speech or Occupational Therapy), the workshop helps caregivers learn how to:

  • Recognize signs that their baby is ready to eat

  • Understand sensory preferences and needs around food

  • Identify key aspects of their baby’s anatomy and movement that support safe, successful eating

We wrap up with a quick, collaborative clean-up and practical strategies for families to try at home throughout the week.

This is a space to build confidence, ask questions, and help your baby develop a positive relationship with food—because food should be fun!

Open Play Sensory Group

Join us for a fun, hands-on sensory play experience designed for children ages 18–36 months and their caregivers. This open play group offers a balance of child-led exploration and gentle guided activities, giving little ones the freedom to discover while also benefiting from structured support.

Throughout the session, children will engage with a variety of sensory-rich materials and activities that support curiosity, movement, and connection. Caregivers will learn more about how different sensory systems (like touch, movement, and body awareness) influence play, behavior, and everyday routines.

Led by a licensed Occupational, Physical, or Speech-Language Pathologist, each class provides practical strategies to support:

  • Attention and focus

  • Regulation and calming

  • Engagement in play and daily activities

  • Overall enjoyment and confidence in exploration

We’ll wrap up each session with simple, actionable ideas for families to try at home during the week.

Come play, learn, and connect in a supportive, sensory-rich environment!
